Flamme d’Avenir is French for ‘’Flame of the Future’’ and FAV in acronym. Flamme d’Avenir is involved in bringing healing to the community by providing holistic care for orphaned and vulnerable children. We give children the chance to dream of a better future.
Founded in 2008 and officially registered as a Congolese NGO in 2013, Flamme d’Avenir is a holistic child care ministry birthed out of a former International Child Care Ministries (ICCM) sponsored child, who is passionate to offer in return his gifts to people surrounding him. It was initiated as a response to the growing number of orphans and vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Our mission is to empower orphaned and vulnerable children; and restoring hope and dignity to war-affected women by providing quality education, marketable vocational skills, trauma rehabilitation, life skills trainings and discipleship.
